Starmer Blasted Terrorism expert Roger Macmillan has issued a sharp rebuke to Keir Starmer’s government, accusing the administration of prioritising rhetoric over decisive action. Macmillan, former security head for Iran International, argues that a “dangerous delay” in raising the national terrorism threat level has left the UK vulnerable.
According to Macmillan, the surge in hostile state activity and digital radicalisation demands an immediate strategic shift. He suggests that Starmer’s “too much talk” approach fails to address the shifting landscape of modern terror, where recruitment via social media is escalating. Security officials are now under pressure to justify their current stance amid growing calls to proscribe the IRGC.
